The Musical Mind Studio offers a warm and creative environment with encouragement and training, helping all ages become thinking musicians who enjoy music for life. The studio employs several teachers who offer lessons and mentorship. Primary instruments are piano (classical and jazz), voice (classical, jazz, and pop), and guitar (jazz and blues). Along with these instruments, the studio offers a long list of musical skills including improvisation and composition. The studio also specializes in helping children and adults find their best learning style and uses this knowledge to create music. Along with all Mercer Island Music programs, the studio works with children with Autism, Aspergers, ADD, ADHD, and other conditions using a creative approach of teaching that works best for the child.
